As part of the Transformative Territories, Le Parti Poétique has developed a sustained and diverse programme of dissemination activities at Zone Sensible. These activities complement the site’s public open days and are specifically designed for educational, professional, and institutional audiences, with the aim of sharing artistic practices, ecological knowledge, and new ways of thinking about territories.
Throughout 2024 and 2025, Zone Sensible welcomed several hundred participants, including secondary school pupils, university students, teachers, researchers, professionals, and representatives of companies, non-profits, and local authorities. Each visit and workshop systematically included a presentation of the Transformative Territories programme, ensuring that participants could situate the local experience of Zone Sensible within a broader European framework focused on art, ecology, and territorial transformation.
The dissemination programme was structured around three main formats. Interactive visits introduced groups to the history, values, and specificities of Zone Sensible, often followed by workshops connected to participants’ academic or professional paths. Other groups were fully integrated into ongoing activities on the site—particularly through long-term partnerships with educational institutions—allowing for deeper immersion in agricultural practices, artistic experimentation, and collective work. Finally, Zone Sensible hosted team-building and solidarity days for external organisations, combining permaculture introductions, cooking workshops, beekeeping sessions, and plant-based artistic practices as tools for collective reflection on environmental issues.
Educational partnerships played a central role in these activities. Students from François Rabelais High School in Dugny, Paris 8 University, and Sciences Po engaged with the site as part of their curricula, addressing topics such as sustainable food systems, environmental aesthetics, ecosophy, cultural policy, and models for sustainable culture. At the same time, long-term corporate and institutional partners—including foundations, cultural organisations, and international bodies—used Zone Sensible as a space for dialogue, learning, and experimentation.
Overall, Zone Sensible operates as a living laboratory for dissemination, where artistic creation, ecological practices, and education intersect. By welcoming diverse audiences and adapting its programmes to different institutional contexts, Le Parti Poétique has strengthened Zone Sensible’s role as a key platform for sharing the methods, values, and ambitions of Transformative Territories, while fostering lasting exchanges between art, ecology, and society.
