In this episode, we travel to Portugal’s Médio Tejo region, connecting the communities of Mação and Tomar through the Creative Assembly of the Instituto Terra e Memória (ITM).
The ITM is more than a research center dedicated to prehistoric heritage: it is a living space where science, art, and community meet.
Through co-creation, photography, and dialogue, the Creative Assembly brings together local residents, artists, and researchers to imagine new futures for territories shaped by fire, memory, and transformation.
Listeners will hear voices from, artists, researchers, and the local community as they share how collaboration and collective creation are transforming ways of relating to the land. From interpretive routes and educational ativities to artistic residencies and participatory photography, each action becomes an opportunity to rethink heritage and sustainability together.
